Shanda Detton is the 23-year
old daughter of John and Renea Detton of
Dillon. She is a 1993 graduate of Beaverhead
County High School and a 1998 graduate of
the University of Montana with a Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration. Shanda
was the UM Women's Rodeo Team Captain, and
placed fourth in barrel racing in the Big
Sky Region. She also served as the 1997/98
Dillon JayCee Rodeo Queen. She is a former
member of the National Ski Patrol and the
Professional Ski Instructors of America, and
was formerly licensed in property and
casualty insurance for the State of Montana.
She enjoys rodeoing, is a member of the WPRA
and NRA, and is an avid skier. Shanda would
like to pursue a Master's Degree and looks
forward to enjoying a rural lifestyle in
Montana.

Angela Griebel is the 21-year
old daughter of Rodney and Marjorie Griebel
of Plevna. She is a graduate of Plevna High
School and is currently attending Northern
Wyoming Cosmetology school. In High School,
Angela was active in basketball,
cheerleading, music, 4-H, and was on the
Honor Roll. She was also the Fallen County
Fair and Rodeo Queen. She is currently a
member of the Horseman's Club, a member of
the 5th place horse judging team at the AQHA
World Show, and served as the 1998 Miss
Miles City Bucking Horse Queen. She enjoys
rodeo, horse showing, basketball, football,
baseball, horseback riding, swimming,
hiking, and talking on the phone. Angela,
though currently attending cosmetology
school, would also like to pursue a degree
in equestrian education.

Katherine Settle is the 19
year old daughter of Robert and Patricia
Settle of Miles City. She is a 1997 graduate
of Helena High School and is attending Miles
City Community College, transferring to
Dawson Community College in the spring of
1999. In high school, she was active in art
shows and a member of the National Art
Society, academic all-state, varsity
cheerleader, and 4-H. She was also a
national qualifier in the National Barrel
Horse Association. She enjoys swimming and
giving swimming lessons, photography,
painting, riding, roping, rodeoing,
shopping, and doing radio commercials.
Katherine is pursuing an Ag-Business degree
and would like to get a teaching certificate
for K-12. She plans to continue with rodeo
and raising quarter horses.

Christina Wall is the 23-year
old daughter of Dennis and Babette Wall of
Heppner, Oregon. She is a graduate of
Molalla High School in Molalla, Oregon, and
is currently attending Montana State
University. In high school, Christina was
active in 4-H and FFA, receiving numerous
awards at the state level including Oregon
State FFA and Grand Champion Swine Showman
in 1995. She was also on the honor roll,
National Honor Society, girls varsity
soccer, jazz ensemble, and concert band. She
was the Clackmas County (OR) Fair and Rodeo
Queen in 1996 and the Livingston Roundup
Queen in 1998. Her hobbies include training
and showing horses, reading, crafts, hiking,
swimming, trail riding, and learning about
waterfowl hunting. Christina will graduate
with a degree in Ag-Economics/Business,
enabling her to pursue a career in many
different fields. She would like to continue
her involvement with 4- , FFA, and local
horse, swine and cattle clubs.

Angie Hannen is the 19-year
old daughter of Don and Becky Hannen of
Creston. She is a graduate of Bigfork High
School and is attending Flathead Valley
Community College majoring in Nursing. Angie
was active in high school as the yearbook
editor and on the debate team. She also
served as the Northwest Montana Pro Rodeo
Queen in 1998 and was a queen clinic
instructor. She enjoys barrel racing,
horseback riding, horse showing, O-mok-see,
snow skiing, reading, writing poetry,
church, and spending time with family and
friends, especially children. Angle would
like to become a registered nurse and
continue her education to become a midwife.
